Born and raised in Fallston, Harford County, Michael "Mike" Lathroum is known for having deep Maryland roots. His journey post graduation at East Carolina University led him right back to Baltimore. He'll be the first to share how much he loves this state and has lived in many of the local favorite neighborhoods including Fells Point, Federal Hill, Canton and more.

The better you know Mike, the more you may hear people refer to him as the Mayor of Canton as he's taken such an active role in the community. That includes becoming a member in Baltimore City's oldest young men's association, St. Gerard's, an active Volo softball teammate, an active member at Sparrows Point Country Club, a participant in the local fireman nonprofit box 414 program, a former local band member and more. He's even settled permanently by purchasing an iconic Canton row home with the most beautiful rooftop views with his partner Haley and their dog, Bella.

Post college, Mike started bartending and continued to to keep the hustle through a six (6) year career in medical device sales. After hitting a growth ceiling in the medical field and learning that his hustle could be optimized to help more clients, Mike took the leap into real estate in 2015 by joining one of the most respected real estate teams in Baltimore City. Starting as an exclusive buyer's agent, he was able to specialize in a very unique way that became a valued resource still leveraged today for his first time home buyers, investors, and niche clients. His hyperfocus in one part of the process extended into elite negotiation skills, off-market connections, and a deep knowledge of neighborhood nuances. Purposefully moving into listings and diversifying his client portfolio in 2021, Mike was able to optimize his skill set and influence his sphere so well that he outpaced his professional growth goals in less than one year; becoming an elite and well respected listing and buyer's agent.
