Originally from the Midwest, Katie was raised on a farm in her early years until her family moved to the suburbs. She moved to the D.C. area to attend Gallaudet University in the early 1980s. After graduation, Katie settled in Maryland and has lived in Anne Arundel County, Prince George’s County, Queen Anne’s County, and Dorchester Counties. She started her first professional career as a computer scientist for the federal government and became involved in real estate in 2016 as an assistant to real estate investors. Katie, fluent in American Sign Language, is currently licensed in MD, DC & VA and holds a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation.

A believer in empowering people with knowledge, she patiently guides her clients through each transaction. Her #1 priority is to exceed the expectations of her clients and ensure the achievement of their real estate objectives. She has assisted clients throughout Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Frederick, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and Washington counties, in addition to various quadrants of D.C. Active in her local community, Katie is a member of the Maryland Deaf Senior Citizens, Inc. organization and regularly volunteers to assist the local Deaf and Blind Community.
