Born in Baltimore City and raised in different parts of the state, Alex is known for having deep roots in Maryland. As the daughter of a military veteran, and family member of multiple police, fire, and military personnel, her passion for serving the community is a true arm of her personal core values. 

Alex studied biology and neurological sciences at Towson University, with a minor in art history. Her desire to understand how people make decisions based on how they are physiologically wired, socially affected and molded through personal experience has led to an upward growth in her career over the last decade. She’s become proficient in DISC profiling, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Gallup’s StrengthsFinder assessments, is a nationally recognized business coach, assisted on real estate teams that have helped over 1,500 families in the last three years and also leads a top performing real estate team in Maryland. 

While the accolades and consistent curiosity has contributed to professional success, her career has been a true vehicle for her personal mission: to influence her community by making a positive impact that translates into her daughter's development and future opportunity. 
 

Having such a mission statement evolved post the birth of her daughter, Elliott. During pregnancy, Alex experienced a rare condition called HELLP Syndrome which caused her daughter Elliott to be born 11 weeks early. While recovering from kidney and liver failure, with a newborn growing through typical premature deficiencies, Alex made a commitment to shift into a more intentional growth mindset and express gratitude as often as possible. 

Since that recovery, Alex and Elliott have traveled to multiple cities, cultivated a balanced lifestyle where she can be an active parent and enrolled in launching non-profit divisions such as a walk for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. They also have participated in events that include the Red Cross, Catch a Lift Fund, local volunteer fire departments, Women’s Law Center of Maryland, Baltimore’s Healthcare for the Homeless, Addiction Recovery Centers of Maryland, and more.
